Type of adware (advertising software) that assists users in getting credit for rebates, cash back shopping, or contributions to college funds. Loyaltyware is often equated with Parasiteware because it can intercept a user's clickstream. Loyaltyware can be intrusive but usually represents little in the way of a system security threat. Loyaltyware in aggregate, i.e. several applications running at once competing for the same customer, can impact system resources an usability.
