Virtual Worlds
A virtual world, also called 3D Metaverse, is a computer-based simulated environment intended for its users to inhabit and interact via avatars. Avatars are usually depicted as textual, two-dimensional, or three-dimensional graphical representations, although other forms are possible(auditory and touch sensations for example). Some, but not all, virtual worlds allow for multiple users.
This is a virtual world where you can communicate with other world players. This is one of the earliest social networking platforms starting back in the mid 90's.
