Social networking is a method to link communities of people together in some fashion, usually by software. The software, though varies from network to network usually gives users the ability to share and upload photos, videos and bookmarks, blog, message friends, link with or make new friends.

Crackle, owned by Sony Pictures Entertainment company, is an entertainment site with video feeds from upcoming talent. It allows for sharing of video amongst users and has recently been rebranded as a "multi-platform video entertainment network and studio that distributes the hottest emerging talent on the Web and beyond."
