Bundled software is any software that includes other software with the installation. The bundled software is usually described in the EULA, or End User License Agreement, that may or may not be shown at the time of downloading. A popular example is Peer to Peer software that bundles additional software with their application in order to offset cost of giving the software away for free.

Provides weather updates via a small program that runs in the task tray. While Weatherbug is classified as adware the ads are constrained to the program nor does it produce pop-up ads. The most appropriate classification would be "ad supported software"
During installation you need to select a custom install if you do not want to install a toolbar powered by MyWebSearch. Weatherbug claims that only 1 or 2 companies call them adware because their definition of adware is "any program that serves ads." They claim that is not the definition of adware.
It is notatable that Weatherbug does NOT serve ads outside of program e.g. pop-ups. All ads are constrained inside of the application. If you find this application useful and within guidelines of your network policy then do not remove.
May increase network traffic significantly due to the constant updating of clients with pertinent weather information.
